The Water Purification System is connected
directly to the standard kitchen tap, therefore
a separate tap is not required.
The installation of small 10 inch housings under the sink with filter cartridges and a small UV system is an economical method to purify water for the kitchen only, and does not result in purifying water used in baths, showers or toilet.
The room taken up under the sink is not great and will not unduly affect the use of the cupboard space. Water flows up to 8 litres per minute are acceptable with a small UV system.
The 1 micron filter can be either a standard filter or carbon filter to remove chemicals as well as sediment.
