CTO Purifier Cartridge
The CTO cartridge is a top quality American 'Carbon Block' Cartridge which is the ideal basic cartridge for the removal of chlorine, bad taste, and odour.
Made from solid extruded activated carbon, it is very effective at providing high quality drinking water and is far superior in its performance to the similarly priced Granular Activated Carbon ( GAC ) cartridges or bonded Activated Coconut fibre cartridges such as the Sapphire.

CBC10 Purifier Cartridge
The CBC 10 cartridge is a top quality 'Carbon Block' cartridge.
It is made in America and has been the industry leader for over 15 years.
It is very effective at removing all organic chemicals and is the most effective cartridge on the market for removing THM's.

This has the same specifications as the CBC10 cartridge, but is bacteriostatic so it remains hygienic for longer.

Sapphire Under Bench Purifier Cartridge
By using parts sourced from Taiwan, we can reduce the price of this cartridge.
Although the price is more favourable, the performance and consistency of the cartridge is not as good as the American sourced cartridges.
Whereas the slimline cartridges below are Bacteriostatic GAC & KDF, this cartridge is made from coconut fibre. It is still very effective at improving the flavour of drinking water, but will promote the growth of bacteria within the cartridge if not replaced at least annually.
They should be purchased for taste and odour improvement only. For reliable removal of chemicals choose the GAC/KDF 30/1 cartridge below. Model Code: UB Sapphire Fits: UB Sapphire Water Purifier.

GAC/KDF 30/1, BT Deluxe, & 2HK-1 Purifier Cartridge
Made in America, this cartridge is a high quality system, which removes a wide range of chemicals and heavy metals, while retaining the beneficial minerals in the water.
The one micron mesh filter also removes very fine dirt and sediment and is effective at removing both Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts.
The cartridge has a bacteriostatic nature which will allow the cartridge to remain hygienic for up to a maximum of 3 years. In practice, most families need to replace the cartridge every 24 to 30 months to maintain a high quality water supply.
The cartridge is not recommended for tank or bore water supplies, as acid water can corrode the media used inside the cartridge. We do stock the 1-H1 cartridge for rural supplies.
