System incorporates a 4 stage filtration system including sediment removal, two carbon filters to remove chemicals and chlorine as well as an Ultra Membrane Filter which filters to a microscopic 0.03 micron to remove material not removed by normal filters including bacteria and viruses, so great for rural water supplies as well as urban treated water.
4 Stages:
- Stage 1: Sediment pre-filter: 5 micron filter removes dust, rust, sludge, particle and suspended sediment.
- Stage 2: Carbon Block: Removes chlorine, bad tastes, odours and organic compounds from water. It also reduces a number of chemicals, such as pesticides and herbicides and hundreds of other man-made chemicals that may come into contact with tap water as it proceeds through the system.
- Stage 3: Ultra Filtration Membrane: Hollow Fibre Ultrafiltration Membrane has 0.03 micron pore size which contributes to a high removal capability of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts, Bacteria and Viruses, colloids and silt, thereby producing high-quality pure water.
- Stage 4: Post Carbon Block: It works as a polishing stage to ensure removal of all chlorine, bad tastes, odours, organic compounds and chemicals from the water.
