http://www.wellingtonwaterfilters.co.nz is a web portal designed to facilitate the sale of water filtration products and other products supplied by Wellington Water Filters Ltd and its associated business ‘Kapiti Pure Water’. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time without prior notice, in which case we will post the revised Terms and Conditions of Use on this website and update the "Last Updated" date to reflect the date of the changes. By continuing to use this website after we post any such changes, you accept the Terms and Conditions of Use, as modified. Any rights not granted by these Terms and Conditions of Use are reserved by Wellington Water Filters Ltd.
To purchase products on this website and to access certain Services available on this website, you must provide certain information about yourself, including your name, address and other contact information in connection with your submission of credit card or other payment information.
All information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned!
We do operate a reminder service so information about you and your purchase will be held on file for future reference. Any future contact from us will only be relevant to the products purchased and we promise not to send any other advertising or promotional material.

By using this website, you represent, warrant and agree that you shall not (and you agree not to allow any other individual or entity to): (a) gain unauthorized access to the website, or computer system, or network connected to this website or use automated means to download data from our website; (b) engage in any illegal conduct or conduct that violates the rights of others, including conduct that we determine (in our discretion) is harassing, offensive, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights or that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right, or derivative works with respect thereto, without first obtaining permission from the owner or rights holder; or (c) use the website to transmit a computer virus or other feature designed to damage or interfere with the intended performance of this website or its Services.

We reserve the right to make adjustments to prices and product and service offerings (including the discontinuation of product and service offerings) and availability for any reason, including but not limited to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and other extenuating circumstances. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all changes to this website and its Services, including changes to the content, features and product and service offerings on this website, shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use. To the extent that we provide information on availability of products or services, you should not rely on such information, and we will not be liable for any lack of availability of products or services that you may order through this website.
Unless stated otherwise, all prices payable for product and service offerings on this website are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products and/or services where the sale or use of such product and/or service in your State or Country is restricted or prohibited.
6. PAYMENT METHODS AND POLICY
Terms of payment are within our sole discretion and, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing, payment must be received by us prior to our acceptance of an order. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Bank deposit or Cash (if picking the product up directly). We may also offer other payment alternatives from time to time. When placing an order online by credit card, you must provide: Your address for both billing and delivery, the card number, the expiration date and the cardholder's name as it is printed on the card, and the 3 or 4 digit code found only on the card (CVV2 code). Each time you submit credit card or other payment information on this website, you represent (a) you are authorized to use the credit card or other payment account; (b) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete; (c) charges incurred by you will be honoured by your credit card company or other payment system provider; and (d) you will pay charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including all applicable taxes, if any. If an order appears fraudulent in any way, we reserve the right to cancel the order, notify the card holder and the proper authorities. Charges for shipping and handling will be made in accordance with our then-current shipping policies.
We reserve the right to change our payment policies and procedures at any time without prior notice to you.
Wellington Water Filters Ltd require all orders to be paid before the products are delivered.
There are three payment methods available:
1. Bank Deposit
This is the preferred payment method as it is fast, does not incur significant processing costs and the transaction can be conducted through your banks secure systems.

Please allow overnight clearance of internet payment if made by another bank.
2. Cash on pickup
You can pay by cash or eftpos in person if you are picking the goods up.
3. EFTPOS and Credit Card
We have an EFTPOS machine available at our store to process payments if you are picking up directly.
We use manual data entry through Paymark to process credit card payments over the phone.
Our website uses Paystation to process online credit card transactions. After selecting to pay by Credit Card you will be directed to the secure Paystation site to complete the payment transaction online. We will be advised once you have made the online payment. Your credit card details will not be handled by our site.
Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted.
Prices and GST
All prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). All prices INCLUDE GST. You will only be charged in New Zealand Dollars.
We do not operate subscription billing
7. SHIPPING POLICIES
We will only ship orders to physical addresses within New Zealand. Orders under 23 Kg will be shipped via a courier service. Orders over 23 Kg will be shipped via a trucking company.
Shipping costs will be charged by total volumetric weight of the order at the fees charged by the courier company being used.
Shipping Time Frames
Products will be shipped as soon as possible after the order and payment have been confirmed. This will normally be the same day for orders processed before 3 pm Monday to Friday and the next working day for orders received over weekends and on public holidays.
If the product ordered is not currently in stock we will advise you at the earliest opportunity via phone or email.
8. ORDERING DISCLAIMER
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline, or limit your order for any reason, whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has been charged and your order is cancelled, you will receive a prompt refund credit to your account. We also reserve the right to require additional information before processing any order.
9. RETURN POLICY
Our return policy ("Return Policy") may be viewed here. By using this website, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by our Return Policy.

CHANGE OF MIND
We strongly recommend that you send us an email or phone us to resolve any issues or concerns you may have about a product BEFORE ordering. If you wish to return an unopened and undamaged product within 7 days please phone us first for approval. We do reserve the right to refuse returns at our discretion, we also reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee and will not refund any charges we have incurred while processing the order. This means you simply just can’t return product and expect a full refund without first discussing this with us.
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ('CGA'), you have guaranteed legal rights for goods [and services] you buy.
These are called 'consumer guarantees', and include the following:
1. a guarantee that the goods are of acceptable quality, such that the goods are:
- fit for all the purposes for which goods of that type are commonly supplied;
- free from minor defects;
- durable; and
- acceptable in appearance and finish;
2. a guarantee that the goods are fit for any particular purpose made known by you, or for which we represent that they are or will be fit;
3. a guarantee that the goods correspond with any description with which the goods are supplied; and
4. a guarantee that the goods correspond with any sample or demonstration model where the goods are supplied by reference to such sample or model.
If the goods (or services? we supply do not meet a consumer guarantee, we will meet our obligations under the CGA to provide a remedy.
These guarantees are in addition to any warranty offered by a manufacturer, and you may have rights against the manufacturer directly.
The CGA does not apply where the goods have been used in a manner, or to an extent which is inconsistent with the manner or extent of use that a reasonable consumer would expect to obtain from the goods; and the goods would have complied with the guarantee of acceptable quality if they had not been used in the manner or to that extent.
If you are acquiring goods (or services) from Wellington Water Filters Ltd for business purposes as defined in sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods (or services).
FAILURES (MINOR AND MAJOR)
If the goods (or services) we supply do not comply with a consumer guarantee, but can be remedied within a reasonable time, we will either repair the goods or replace the goods with goods of identical type. If we cannot repair or replace the goods within a reasonable time, we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price.
A 'major failure' is where the failure in the goods cannot be repaired or cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, or where the failure constitutes a 'failure of substantial character' as set out by section 21 of the CGA.
If a failure amounts to a major failure, you are entitled to return the goods and choose to have a replacement of the returned goods or a refund. Alternatively, you may elect to retain the goods and obtain compensation for the reduction in value of the goods.
Where you choose a replacement, we will where available, provide goods of the same type and similar value to the returned goods.
GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
Please check all goods are undamaged before accepting them from the courier. If any goods arrive damaged - do not sign a receipt stating that the goods have been received in good order. Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange to have the damaged item returned to us and either repair or replace the goods or refund the price to you, at its election. Damaged goods must be returned to us in the condition received by you with all original packaging, together with all packing slips.
MORE INFORMATION (DELIVERY CHARGES, REFUNDS)
Any shipping costs to return the original goods to us will be at the customers expense. If on examination of goods returned to Wellington Water Filters Ltd, the goods are found to not be in breach of any consumer guarantee, Wellington Water Filters Ltd may charge you a fee for examining the goods, and any cost to return the goods to you.
Please note that goods must be returned within a reasonable period and you may be asked to demonstrate that you have purchased the goods from Wellington Water Filters Ltd and that the problem with the goods was not your fault.
Refunds will be issued at the discretion of Wellington Water Filters Ltd.
Refunds will normally be processed within seven(7) days.
